Internet is a huge search engine, its goal is to help humans find information and make things easier. Micah Sifry wrote an article and in this article he tries to show is opinion on this topic of Wiki Leaks and protesting. Micah creates an image by starting out with discussing how Obama views the internet. Micah wants us to understand his view which is, is internet ruining this society. Does the internet take away the voice that everyone once knew? Sifry believes that Wiki Leaks is being released, to not single out just one person, but creating a simple way to expose some information that Julian Assange wants revealed. Micah reveals that he doesn’t understand why Americans couldn’t have gotten the honest truth on some aspects in the government, instead of being fed contradictions that don’t make since to anyone. But Micah believes that all will just believe this horse poop because most people don’t have voices to voice out their opinion on serious matters. Micah sees Assange as dangerous and thinks he can turn this society against each other.

Micah’s article is pretty straight forward and gets right to the point. He has quotes from Obama and Hillary Clinton, stating their opinion on the internet and Julian Assange’s plots. This piece of information is important because people need to realize that Wiki Leaks is a pretty serious thing and the information that is contained in it. But if the information doesn’t deal with that certain person, that person will not have a voice on the opinion because it doesn’t affect them. Obama makes some good points about the internet. Students these days need to have a louder voice on certain things, they need to look at issues from both sides and research some information. They should become knowledgeable on these types of issues so one day they can debit and understand what they are debating about. So, this is how my research question makes sense with this article, this shows that students will voice out on their opinion if the issue deals with them. But for those who the issue doesn’t affect should still research and have a voice on the issue.
